Overview | 3-aminophenylboronic acid hemi-sulfate is a boronic acid derivative that can be used as a pharmaceutical synthesis intermediate. Boronic acid derivatives are widely used in organic synthesis for the formation of carbon-carbon bonds. In Suzuki coupling, aryl halides and aryl or vinyl borates or boronic acids are coupled using Pd(PPh3)4. Aryl triflate is also an effective coupling partner. Boronic acid derivatives have been used in natural product synthesis, material synthesis, poly (arylene) polymerization, and oligomeric aromatic liquid crystal preparation. |
